I had to go to Endodonics of York for an infection of a root canal that I had done by another dentist years ago. The procedure was painless. They drilled a hole through my crown, put antibiotics in the canals until the infection cleared, and then filled the hole in my crown. Everything went well except for when he filled the hole he used a colored filling. All of my previous dentistry work had been completed using white fillings. I have had multiple cavities before so this would have been easily noticed by any professional. Two weeks after the procedure my crown chipped and I called the practice about it. They told me that they wouldn't cover anything for this since they state in their contract this is a risk of the procedure.
Upon arrival, Shae spoke softy and confidently in an attempt to calm my anxieties due to a very bad memory from an experience from years ago from a root canal done elsewhere.

After several days of discomfort that graduated to excruciating pain, my dentist referred me to Dr Michael Kertes for an emergency root canal.
I had UNBEREABLE pain when I got to their office. I went to the York Hospital Dental office and told me the tooth could be saved but I had an infection so it had to be done immediately. Of course the throbbing pain was caused because of this. They sent me to this office and they helped me immediately. They numbed me up right away while they prepared everything for the Root canal. I thank God I came to this office because they took care of me and my fears.
30-mins later, I left the office after a very comfortable procedure performed by a confident staff of personable professionals.
I had a root canal treated by Dr. Wibowo. I am not a good patient but Dr. Wibowo was empathetic as well as professionally adept. She reacted to my pain and understood the body language of "ouch." I wish I remembered her dental tech as she was the icing on the cake, making the whole experience pleasantly tolerable for a dentalphobe like me.

I understand not covering the cracked crown however, I am upset about the permanent colored filling. You don't go to the dentist to become more self conscious about your teeth. I have cancelled my six month check up and will be finding another specialist. I recommend you look for another practice for your procedure as well.
