My only gripe is that it’s a bit of a drive but the same goes for other stores due to my location.
I’ve been going to this particular ALDI since I was a kid with my Grandma. While it was good before the recent renovation, the updates make it feel far more modern. As a 20 something bachelor I admittedly don’t buy much veggies or raw meat but the former look fresh. The packaged food is excellent for the most part and you can’t beat the price.
Very clean and well-lit store with great prices and great products. Great selection of ‘fancy’ meats and cheeses, as well as your usual grocery staples all at really competitive pricing. This is my first stop when grocery shopping and they usually have 90% or more of what I need. One star missing only because they frequently run out of the products they have on special. Don’t forget your quarter for your cart and your reusable bags!
Aldi has great prices, and it's a nice, clean store. I love that the check-out lines go fast since the checkers don't pack the groceries. Take your own bags! The only thing I find negative is that they will carry an item and then suddenly, you can't get it anymore after you've bought it for a long time. That annoys me. Some examples are their orange juice in the half gallon containers, panko bread crumbs and canned vegetarian chili. That means I have to go to a different store, which I don't want to do. Other than that, Aldi is my go-to grocery store every week.
I love Aldi. You get great prices on quality products. I love their produce dept. Always fresh veggies and fruits. Their meats are delicious. Got my Christmas turkey there and saved a bunch of money. I like the improvements on our store. Very nice.
Nice store, easy to find items, helpful employees, excellent prices; better than Wal-Mart.
It’s not for everyone - bags aren’t free for example and you have to bag items yourself, but the benefits (cost savings they pass to you because you can bring your own bags, environmental protection, the ability to bag yourself “juuust right”...as a former cashier for a high end competitor I appreciate that aspect haha) outweigh the potential inconvenience factor.
